Boston, MA — TalentBurst today announced the successful sale of its Information Technology, Engineering, and State, Local & Education (SLED) Government staffing business to Epitec, effective June 1, 2026.

Headquartered in Southfield, Michigan, Epitec is a nationally recognized, women-owned staffing and workforce solutions company led by CEO Rebecca Bray. With nearly five decades of experience, Epitec has built a strong reputation delivering workforce solutions to leading enterprise clients across the automotive, industrial, technology, and professional services sectors.

As part of the transaction, TalentBurst's IT, Engineering, and SLED staffing operations—including employees, consultants, client relationships, and related assets—have transitioned to Epitec.

TalentBurst's remaining businesses—TalentBurst Connect, its global Employer of Record (EOR) and Agent of Record (AOR) platform, TalentBurst Healthcare & Life Sciences, its Healthcare and Life Sciences Staffing business, and TalentProcure, its Managed Service Provider (MSP) business—are not part of the transaction and will continue operating under existing leadership with no changes to client service or operations.

"This transaction represents an exciting new chapter for both organizations," said Bharat (Brad) Talwar, CEO and Co-Founder of TalentBurst. "Over the past 24 years, we have built an exceptional IT, Engineering, and Government staffing business powered by outstanding employees, loyal clients, and trusted partners. We are incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished and are confident they will continue to thrive as part of Epitec. At the same time, this strategic divestiture enables TalentBurst to accelerate our investment in TalentBurst Connect, TalentBurst Healthcare & Life Sciences, and TalentProcure, as we execute on our next phase of growth."

“As Epitec approaches 50 years in staffing, this acquisition marks a strategic and highly complementary expansion for our company,” said Rebecca Bray, President of Epitec. “TalentBurst has built a strong reputation for delivering exceptional talent and service, making this a natural fit for both organizations. We look forward to welcoming new customers and employees to Epitec and supporting their continued success through our relationship-focused approach, scalable delivery model, and proven operational excellence.”

TalentBurst Connect, TalentBurst Healthcare & Life Sciences, and TalentProcure will continue to operate under the TalentBurst brand. Existing branding, digital properties, and public-facing communications for these businesses will remain unchanged, ensuring continuity for clients, consultants, employees, and business partners.
