TalentBurst’s 2017 Year In Review

As we quickly approach the end of the year, sometimes it’s nice to take a break and look back at all the exciting stuff that has happened in the months prior. TalentBurst has had another fantastic year and it’s important to look back and acknowledge that we couldn’t do it without our partners, employees, and talented people that choose to work with us.

So let’s take a quick look back at some of the highlights of 2017:

TalentBurst turns 15!

Remember 2002? The Patriots won the SuperBowl. Britney Spears dominated the radio. Lord of the Rings was the most exciting 3 hours you could have at the movies. What are we forgetting? Oh yeah! Three ex-Monster.com executives started a little company called TalentBurst. It’s been a great 15 years and we look forward to the next decade and a half!

We’ve stepped up our Employer of Record Services

Our client service offerings keep expanding, with a big focus on TalentBurst acting as an Employer of Record for businesses with a large contingent worker population. This is going to be a big area of focus for us in 2018 and beyond – keep an eye on our Employer of Record page to follow along with us!

TalentBurst Acquires IBA Software Technologies

TalentBurst is an industry leader when it comes to IT and Life Sciences staff augmentation, so it made sense to team up with IBA Software Technologies, who had a 40-year track record of success in the same fields. You can read the original press release here.

CEO Brad Talwar Gives Talk About High Hazard Payroll

TalentBurst continues to demonstrate industry leadership with our ever-expanding High Hazard Payroll services. Our CEO Brad Talwar was invited to give an exclusive talk on the inherent hazards of running a business with a large contingent labor pool. It was a great couple of days and Brad is a natural in front of the camera. Look forward to more video content in 2018!

Partnership Awards

TalentBurst is proud to be recognized as industry leaders by our partners in the contingent workforce industry. TAPFIN awarded us with the 2016 Program Performance Excellence Award in January, which was quickly followed up by recognition from ZeroChaos as a 2017 Proven Performer. This is the second year in a row that we were recognized as a Proven Performer, and we couldn’t be more proud of our team!tapfin-program-performance-award-talentburst

ZeroChaos also named TalentBurst as “Best in Compliance 2017″ for our work with Toyota Financial Services.

Our partnerships are important, and it feels great to be recognized year after year for all the hard work the TalentBurst team does. We have a feeling that 2018 is going to bring a lot more awards our way… we better make some more room on the TalentBurst trophy shelf!

Our Executive Management Team Continues to Grow

Our management team got a couple of great boosts with Heather Hammond leading our North American HR Department. We also welcomed VP of Sales Kay Ring to our San Francisco office.

TalentBurst Rocked the Conferences

You can always visit TalentBurst at one of our many locations around the world, but be sure to look for us at the conferences we frequent throughout the year. This last year, we were at the Boston Techjam and ProcureCon in Atlanta. We love meeting new people and catching up with old friends!
